Training schedule

The club run a number of weekly and ad hoc training sessions throughout the year.

If you are thinking about joining the club then you are most welcome to come along to a couple of the Thursday night 'Brick' sessions to try out training in any of the disciplines. Participation in each of the sessions is optional so if you just want to improve your swim or run technique then you can give either of these sessions a go. Of course triathlons are multi disipline events so for a true test why not combine a couple of discplines in one night!

Ardingly college pool

Drive into the main entrance and park in front of the main building (facing the cricket pitch). Follow the access road towards the rear of the site, on the right there is a slope past the gymnasium building to the pool building located at the bottom of the steps

Saturday Open water swim session 08:30 - 10:00 April - September

Ad Hoc training sessions

Please check on the MSTC facebook page for ad-hoc training sessions. Typically experienced members will post if they are organising an informal bike ride or run at the weekend.
If you are in the club and looking for some company training feel free to post yourself!

Please note that participants are required to wear suitable clothing and protection for each of the club training sessions e.g. cycling safety helmets  are compulsory when riding a bike in Club kit or on club cycle rides, bright coloured hats when swimming in open water and reflective clothing at night.

Insurance

Individual insurance is highly recommended if you are training regularly which is supplied as a benefit of British Triathlon Membership. As a member of our club you qualify for a BTF membership discount, chose our club when prompted and the discount will be applied.
